A maxi dress is full-length typically reaching the ankle (around 132–145cm long). A midi dress hits between the knee and the ankle, usually around 75–95cm long. Maxis are more formal and elongating; midis are more versatile and work-appropriate. Both can be casual or dressy depending on the fabric and styling.

Yes print scale matters more than the print itself. Look for medium-scale florals (not tiny ditsy prints, not enormous tropical patterns) on a darker base colour. The print should be busy enough to camouflage what you want hidden but not so loud that it

Each product page lists the fabric composition and care instructions. Most styles are machine washable only structured occasion gowns and lined formal dresses require dry cleaning.
