Appropriate work wear depends on the office. For corporate environments: tailored pants or knee-length skirts, structured blazers, polished blouses or shells and closed-toe shoes. For business casual: tailored dresses, smart pants, fine knits and casual blazers. For creative offices: more flexible still polished but with more colour, pattern and personal style. Match the dress code your office establishes.

For summer office wear, choose breathable fabrics like refined viscose, lightweight wool blends, structured cotton and polyester crepe blends. Sleeveless dresses or shells with a blazer for layering work well you can remove the blazer if the office is warm. Avoid heavy fabrics like ponte and structured wool in peak summer. Closed-toe shoes are still expected in most offices regardless of temperature.

Yes work-appropriate dresses include knee-length to midi length sheath dresses, A-line dresses with sleeves, shirt dresses and structured wrap dresses. Avoid bare-shoulder, very low neckline, very short or very tight dresses for corporate environments. Add a blazer for client meetings or formal presentations. Stretch ponte, refined viscose and structured cotton are the most office-friendly fabrics.

Yes every work piece in our collection is sized 8 to 26 with proportions graded for plus size. Blazers have proper shoulder grading, pants have proportional leg widths, and dresses are cut to flatter without clinging. Work clothes plus size is regularly under-served we’ve made sure our entire work range goes to 26 with the same fabric quality across all sizes.

Black, navy, charcoal, camel, taupe, cream and burgundy are universally office-appropriate. Add accent colours through blouses or accessories. Pattern is fine in moderation small-scale prints, subtle stripes and abstract patterns work in most offices. Avoid loud tropical prints, very saturated colours and heavily ornate patterns for corporate environments. Build a coordinated work wardrobe in 4 to 5 core colours that mix and match.

Start with neutral foundation pieces: 2 to 3 pairs of work pants (black, navy, neutral), 2 to 3 work skirts or knee-length dresses, 5 to 7 blouses or shells in neutral and accent colours, 2 blazers (one structured, one relaxed), and 2 to 3 layering knits or cardigans.
