Plus size workwear is consistently under-stocked because production grading for plus size is more expensive (each size needs its own pattern, not just a scale-up), and many brands assume plus size customers don’t need professional clothes. Both assumptions are wrong. Plus size customers are in every workforce, every industry and every level of seniority and need work clothes that actually fit. We grade every work piece individually for sizes 16 to 26.

Yes, properly graded plus size blazers have shoulder lines proportioned to the bust (not scaled to the bust), longer body length to balance the hip, sleeve length adjusted for arm length, and ease across the bust to prevent gaping. A scaled-up size 10 blazer doesn’t do any of this which is why it never fits properly across the shoulders or the bust at the same time. Look for blazers specifically graded for plus size.

Wide leg pants with a high waistband are widely considered the most flattering for plus size workwear the wider leg balances the hips, the high waistband sits at the smallest part of the waist (above the tummy), and the flowing silhouette skims rather than clings.
