Three-Quarter Sleeve

Because it covers approximately three-quarters of the full arm length from the shoulder down to just below the elbow, ending at roughly the midpoint of the forearm. A full sleeve covers the entire arm to the wrist (4/4 of the arm); a 3/4 sleeve covers three-quarters; a short sleeve covers about a quarter (1/4); a cap sleeve covers about an eighth.

3/4 sleeves cover the upper arm (where most women want coverage) but show a slim wrist (the most flattering point on most arms).
